Conference Theme

The conference theme is “Managing the Asian Century”. This conference offers both academics and practitioners the opportunity to share knowledge in several disciplines relevant to Asian countries. The focus is how we facilitate the developments in the emerging economies. The conference organizers welcome contributions that draw upon contemporary developments in practices of management, education system, organizational development, studies in tropics, financial and economic planning, and others areas significant to socio cultural economic and environmental development.

Reviewing

Each Full Paper will through a blind review process. Accepted papers will be published in the reviewed Conference Proceedings (with ISSN). Selected papers will also be considered for publication in Special Issue of several journals.

We welcome young researchers who are completing their higher research degree or have obtained their PhD within the last five years to join this workshop. A number of sessions would be facilitated by experienced researchers in the following areas:

• What writers and reviewers are targeting in academic journals
• Publishing research in top academic journals
• The importance of bibliometrics, citation impact, and H indices
• Preparing a book proposal for publishers

We also welcome experienced researchers, participating in this conference, to submit proposal(s) for professional development which could be shared with young researchers. Please email your proposal(s) to the workshop chairs or to any organizing committee member.
